I started writing poetry my freshmen year of high school and wrote fairly steadily until the end of my sophmore year. Almost all of the poetry posted on this blog will be my old stuff. I will post a couple of new things, but I dont really write all that much anymore.
Many of the poems are untitled so the date I wrote them will be the only title many have.
I am not suicidal. The poems may make you think so because, yes, many of them are dark and depressing. But its just what inspired me to write. Many of these poems I think of as miniature stories that I can go back to later and develop. Even if I never do, mostly they are about love and loss.
I am afraid of death, perhaps thats why I wrote about it so much. If reading dark, depressing poetry is not something you enjoy, I would suggest another blog for you, because that's most of the poetry that will be posted here. Because thats all of my old stuff.
Yes, my new stuff is happier, but I only really write when I feel very inspired.
