10-20-10

One marvolous wonderous glorious year
I win my dear I win my dear
You said i couldn't do it, i told u that i would
and now look at how happy we are

The lond distance part sucks, im not gonna lie
but it cannot be helped
The time passes slow when we are apart
and far to quickly when we are together

So lets treasure every heartbeat
Every little moment
Every tear, Every breath
Every smile every laugh

Im not going anywhere
You best get use to this idea
I don't care how long, I will prove to you
that i have exactly what it takes

I am yours and you are mine
You told me this long ago
It couldn't be more truer than it is now
You have me mind body and soul

I will wait, as each
minute, hour, day
week month year passes
and when u return, I will be waiting

You can't get rid of me,
Im stuck with you
But your also stuck with me
so count your blessings

I love you more
everyday
I promise you
For me, its will always be this way.

Bleed Bright Colors

I am beautifull
outside like most but also inside
i have a metalic point
and bleed bright colors
i write elequent words
and create legends
I dance across paper
like im in a ballet
but too soon
i no longer bleed
i no longer dance
or create
I am a pen
held in the hands of an artist.

Rogue River Memories

Jumping across the white rocks of the rogue river I veer into another direction
up the nearest boulder
Standing on top gives me the best view.
many dark trees.
fathers standing waist high in water, catching the salmon.
I see the dark sky and feel the rough wind.
Im chasing her
Paige
Shes a fast runner
laugh
silently
agreeing to play a new game
now we are indians sharpening our spears
gathering drift wood
dusk is here
time to leave
wipe the mud off our faces
eagle swoops into the river catching a fish
they call me back and
once again
I am me.

In the Dark

9-20-06

she lays alone,
in the dark the silence closes in
a faithful dog lays at her feet,
a single tear rolls down her cheek,
she turns left, and to the right
a cold, cold fear, grips her tight
She knows at last the time has come
she hears a whisper, her faithful dog wimpers
He too knows the time is come
he lay awake, his time is done
He feels two small arms around his neck
he feels a small tear wet his head.
He is old, his time is come
She is young, her time just begun
With a small whimper, as his last breath
a small voice crys out, a cry of death
He sees her there, crying for him
his spirit engulfs her, he gives her a kiss
the girl feels it, lightly on her cheek
slowly rising she pats his head
she meets her parents at the door
they too know that he is gone
together they weep in the dark.

Two angels

8-11-08

sitting alone, in the dark
a disturbing thought, made deaths mark
my two loves, forever lost
only a memory, like morning frost

the first so fair
too kind, books to share
the second so strong
always there, never wrong

my two angels, loves of my life
withought them im lost full of grief and strife
i tell them my worries, they promise to stay
how can i be sure they will never fade away?

Ice Cold Grave

She's standing on a bridge, on a dark cold night,
there are no lights
The wind blows her hair, the snow begins to fall,
her skin becomes pale
Her heart grows cold, she looks around once more,
her eyes are dark
The ice water below her, calls her name.

She whispers a single word, balancing on the rail,
a cold fear grips her
She sees him coming, she was waiting for him,
he's running toward her calling her name

Her heart begins to thaw, she moves to step down,
the rail is icy
her foot, its slips, her cold hands let go,
and she falls, to the dark below.

He reaches the rail,
too late is he,
he cries her name,
crying at her ice cold grave.

Staring at the Stone

She sits alone,
Staring at the stone.
The name engraved,
The flowers around.

20 years to live,
went by too fast.
her memories,
forever will last.

A white mist,
sitting alone.
Staring at,
the old grave stone.

Slowly other,
figures form.
Only they,
come to mourn.

The time they waited,
forever will haunt.
Their souls will wanter,
forver in want.

Want of a life,
not to taint.
As if to cover,
with a paint.

hiding the fears,
forever more.
never again,
knock on that door.

They will wish for a life,
free of strife.

Wishing for no knowledge,
of their past deeds.
ever wishing,
to be freed.

on a grave,
yellow flowers.
in a cave,
hold the powers.

If the flowers,
were to die.

Then the power,
would be gone forever.

The souls would be free,
to roam the land.
And the earth would crumble,
the people turn to sand.

This is the balance,
that must be held.

Or chaos would rule,
and good would be gone.

She sits alone,
Staring at the stone.
The name engraved,
The flowers around.

20 years to live,
went by too fast.
her memories,
forever will last

Dying Inside

A single tear, falls from my eye
my fist pounds, on the locked door
as my knees, hit the stone cold floor
the room feels like ice.

My heart, it shatters
my fists are now, bloody red
my skin it feels like ice.

My voice grows hoarse, my breath becomes ragged
I've been dying inside since you left.

((Just a little side note. This is one of the first poems I ever wrote my freshmen year. Yes, it is very rough and could use a lot of revision, but I keep it like this as a reminder of how much better i've become the longer I write.))

2-28

She sits in the grass
watching black clouds pass
waiting for the day
she no longer has to pay

she has lied
she has cried

rolling down a hill
she remembers the one she killed

she stops at the ledge
peeps over the edge
down below the water crashes
into the rocks deepest gashes

unsteadily, she gets to her feet
staring at the water deep
It's only a game
not played for fame

she takes a deep breath
not ready for death
the water calls
she's scared to fall

scared to die leaping for the sky

the wind pulls gently
the rocks below are plenty
in the wind, her dress doth sway
on it not a single fray

Her skin now white
eyes no longer bright
with her last breath
she prepairs for death

playing his game she whispers his name

slightly foreword doth she lean
slipping on the wet, wet green
the wind is her brace
as water meets her face

no longer, can she breath
as the water starts to squeeze
slowly she closes her eyes
knowing she is about to die

in the dark she sees his face
next to him she takes her place

once again, she is glad
never again to be mad
with her prince once again
this is how her life ends.
